Weekend Recap: BOTPW

What a fun weekend! This weekend was the 91st Battle of the Piney Woods (football game between Sam Houston State University and Stephen F. Austin State University) and SHSU won!!! High fives all around. On top of that, it was a good friend's 30th birthday so we celebrated with tailgating, front row seats at the game, a fun night out, and Sunday funday brunch. Sunday night the hubs and I celebrated another great friend's birthday with a small dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in The Woodlands, Johnny's Italian Steakhouse (it's inside the Holiday Inn).

It's a Teen Scene

Four years ago we got to hear his first cries as he came into this world! 4?! Where did the time go? Saturday we attended our "nephews" birthday party. Superhero themed of course lol He is definitely 4 going on 17. As a gift, the hubs and I got him a ride-on truck. Every boy needs a truck. The hub's inner child came out! :P

He did this pose all by himself. His mother and I died laughing!

A HUGE thank you to his parents for letting us be part of his life and spoil the heck out of him!

Favorite Pin Friday | Volume 39

Pinterest to the rescue! Tomorrow is my mother-in-law's 60th birthday and we're throwing a fiesta! :) I'm in charge of the photo booth props. Good thing Pinterest has everything I need. A quick search yielded a free printable perfect for the event. It's geared toward Cinco de Mayo, but I'll discard any piece reflecting that.
