Top It Off

What better way to start the New Year than to show you my recent top purchases? Let's start...

Target:
Merona Women's Layering Tee
This layering tee is perfect on it's own or paired with a vest, sweater, or just a scarf. Lightweight and comfortable. Also seen here.

Macy's:
Lucky Brand Long-Sleeve Brushed-Knit Cardigan
I wanted this cardigan so bad last year, but by the time I went to purchase it after Christmas it was sold out in my size. When I found it 50% off on Lucky's website I snatched it up as quick as I could and I'm so glad I did. It's sold out on Lucky's website, but it's still available at Macy's. Feels lightweight, but this cardigan is actually really warm. Also seen here.

Loft:
Mixed Media Sweatshirt Tee | Color Block Bateau Tee
Lou & Grey Signaturesoft Back Zip Tunic | Marled Two-In-One Sweater

Wore the first top to my birthday dinner and it was the perfect dress up or dress down option. The other three tops I ordered online and should be arriving this week. I'm really excited to get them because Veronika at Veronika's Blushing did a snapchat review of the bateau tee and back zip tunic and she made me even more thrilled I placed my order when I did because I think these will go fast!

I've been wearing the layering tee and Lucky Brand cardigan on repeat! Lots of sales are happening this time of year so take advantage of them! Until next post...xoxo Becca

Recent Purchases

Hello and welcome to a new week! Hope you enjoyed the weekend. Today I'm reviewing a couple of my recent purchases.

Loft
I bought this shirt on sale at Loft a few weeks ago and can't stop wearing it! It's nice as a tank for these hot summer days or wearing to work under a cardigan or jacket. Only a few sizes left, snag one while you can.

Loft
Also bought this at Loft. Haven't had a chance to wear it yet, but the structure is nice if you're a pencil skirt lover like I am. I picked this skirt because I had seen it featured on Extra Petite last year in gray. The fabric is thick, but light enough for summer and I love the fact that it has pockets. The waist is a little large on me, but I also have a tiny waist compared to my hips. A little alteration and it will fit perfect! Can't wait to style it and feature it soon.

Lush
I picked up this product two weeks ago (mentioned here) and have been using it twice a day. I wanted to give you a review in case you were hoping I'd write one.

The idea behind Lush Cosmetics is making good products using fresh and organic ingredients, use little or no preservatives, and they list all the ingredients used on their packaging. There is a lot more about their beliefs on the website. All in all I think this is a great idea. With some products you have no clue what you're putting on your body.

I picked Skin Drink because I wanted to try a new moisturizer. I had been using Origins GinZing and like it, but thought trying something else may be even more effective with my dry skin. See my skincare routine here. This product definitely makes my skin feel soft and smooth. If you have a sensitive nose this isn't the product for you. It's very "earthy" and something makes me wonder why am I slathering this on my face if it doesn't smell good, but it works well! I use it at night and put it on under my foundation in the morning. All day my skin feels hydrated, but not greasy. I look forward to giving my skin a nice "drink" at the end of the day. Heck, I like a drink at the end of the day, but that's beside the point. I would recommend this product!

What products or clothes have you bought recently you'd recommend?

Until next post...xoxo Becca

Summertime Fun

It's Texas and it's hot which means summer is around the corner. Been thinking a lot about the pool, floating the river, and spending time at the lake this summer. Swimsuit season...ugh haha But here are some fun swimsuit cover-ups I'm digging right now. Price range $20-$60.

Spotted

One of the latest trend seems to be Dalmatian spots! It's a nice alternative to zebra, leopard, and other animal patterns. Plus I love anything black and white, it's an obsession to be honest. Here are a few ways to incorporate it into your décor:

Hunted Interior

Lilly Bunn

Grey and Scout
Of course I had to jump on board and add it to my wardrobe.

TOP: Loft | SWEATER: Target | JEANS: Express | HEELS: Nine West | HANDBAG: Fossil | SUNGLASSES: Maui Jim | LIPS: Signature Scarlet

Have a great week and don't forget to wear green tomorrow for St. Patty's Day!
Until next post...
xoxo Becca
