Plated. A New Kind of Dinner

The hubs and I have spent the last few weeks as subscribers of Plated., a meal subscription service. Plated. offers chef-designed recipes and delivers pre-portioned ingredients to your door once a week. The subscription we have is three meals a week delivered on Wednesday and costs $72 a week ($12 per person per meal).

After making an account you choose recipes for the week from a preset list and select what day you would like the meals delivered.

The ingredients (and recipe cards) arrive in a 100% recyclable box with a jute liner (100% compostable) and gel packs. This keeps your ingredients cold until you get home. Pre-portioned ingredients are shipped in recyclable bottles and bags.

Whether you are comfortable in the kitchen or you're new to cooking, the easy to follow directions make a delicious meal simple.

The hubs and I haven't had a bad meal yet. Our favorites have been the Philly-Style Cheesesteak, Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Beef Stir-Fry, and Chicken Meatball Sliders. The Plated. website also gives nutrition information.

We decided to try Plated. because we wanted something different and easy! It has allowed us to try new meals/ingredients without having to spend a ton eating out and it has also added recipe to the rotation.

Until next post...xoxo Becca

    1. It has been fun to receive the meals and prepare them. If you'd like a code to get 3 free meals, send me your email address and I'll get that to you. rebecca.d.gay@gmail.com
